This is such a refreshing book, a beautifully written book about difficulty, but not about issues. The story takes place in 1977, in a small town called Eastview and it's about the three Estabrooks children: Cid, her younger brother Nathaniel, their little sister Queenie, and a horse named Smokey. full review
